It builds on the previous National Development Plan. The RF-NDP was created through consultations with various stakeholders and considers the difficult global economic situation, which is impacting developing countries like The Gambia. The plan acknowledges risks of setbacks in poverty reduction, healthcare, education and environmental protection.
