Anti-Crime Unit Achieves Success in Night Patrols Across Kombo Areas

The Gambia Police Force’s Anti-Crime Unit tackled assaults, suspicious possessions, and thefts in Kombo on October 5, 2025, arresting suspects and recovering stolen goods to bolster community security.

On October 5, 2025, the Anti-Crime Unit conducted a nighttime patrol in Kombo, targeting areas like Abuko and Jabang.

They responded to a report of an assault by youths in masquerade costumes, leading to the arrest of Foday Kujabi, who was armed. In Jabang, Pa Musa Mbaye was detained for possessing 220 iron rods without proof of ownership.

Additionally, an ambush in Latri Kunda resulted in the recovery of nine stolen car batteries and the arrest of Alagie Chongan and Ebrima Jallow.

All arrested individuals and confiscated items are with the police for further investigation, demonstrating the Gambia Police Force’s commitment to public safety.
