The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) held its annual Master Class for Commissioner Generals (CGs) in Rabat, Morocco from July 22-24, 2025.

The conference enables CGs from Africa to share ideas and experiences on revenue collection. Key topics included leadership and the critical role CGs play in national development.

CG Yankuba Darboe of Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) emphasized the importance of political support and effective stakeholder management.

He pointed out how serious the work of CGs is for their countries. The next ATAF Master Class will be in The Gambia in 2026.
