Iran launched missile strikes on Israel, targeting a cargo facility in Haifa owned by the Adani Group, valued at $4.2 billion.
The strikes resulted in at least ten deaths and over 80 injuries, including a Palestinian family in Tamra.
This marks the first major missile attack by Iran on Israel, occurring between June 14 and June 15. The Haifa Port, which was sold to the Adani Group for $1.15 billion in January 2023, is vital to Israel’s economy and was previously managed by a state-owned company.
