ActionAid and the Njawara Agricultural Training Centre (NATC) have launched a new Agroecology platform in Njaw, Central River Region (CRR), to promote sustainable farming.

The two-day event, held on June 16 and 17, trained 17 individuals from various organizations in collaborative agroecology. Saikou F. Bah from ActionAid emphasized the importance of teamwork. At the same time, NATC Director Alpha Sey noted that the platform will promote organic farming and responsible use of fertilizers.

This project will last three years and focuses on the sustainable production and use of organic fertilizers in the North Bank Region (NBR) and CRR.

The platform aims to integrate traditional knowledge with modern science to address climate change, enhance food security, and promote eco-friendly farming practices.
