Striker Yassir Zabiri scored twice to lead Morocco to a 2-0 victory over Argentina, winning their first Under-20 World Cup title and becoming the first African nation to do so since Ghana in 2009.

Morocco advanced by topping their group and defeating South Korea, the United States, and France in the knockout stages.

This match marked Argentina’s first loss in the tournament as they aimed for their seventh title, despite missing key players Claudio Echeverri and Franco Mastantuono.

Zabiri finished as one of the top scorers with five goals.
