Mali’s Prime Minister Abdoulaye Maïga has accused Algeria of “international terrorism” following the shooting down of a Malian army drone that Algeria claimed was operating in its airspace.

At the same time, Mali’s junta is increasingly collaborating with Russia for security as conditions deteriorate due to insurgent attacks.
