Botswana Wins Gold in the 4x400m Relay, while the US Secures the Women’s Title

Botswana became the first African nation to win the men’s 4x400m relay at the World Championships with a historic victory, as the U.S. took silver and South Africa bronze, while the U.S. women dominated their relay.

Botswana won the men’s 4×400 meters relay at the World Championships, becoming the first African team to do so, with a time of 2:57.76, led by Collen Kebinatshipi.

The U.S. secured silver, finishing just ahead of South Africa, both clocking in at 2:57.83.

In the women’s relay, the U.S. team, anchored by Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, claimed gold with a time of 3:16.61.

Jamaica took silver in 3:19.25, and the Netherlands won bronze with a time of 3:20.18.
