Key revenue sources included increased tax collections on profits and capital gains. Government spending totaled GMD14.51 billion, leading to a mid-year deficit of D724.84 million, with main expenses for personnel, subsidies, and domestic interest.

Domestic revenue collections reached 47% of the GMD29.09 billion annual budget. Current expenditure was GMD13.14 billion (46% of the budget) and capital expenditure was GMD1.37 billion (36% of the budget).
