Morocco won the African Nations Championship (CHAN) for the third time, beating Madagascar 3-2 in the final in Nairobi, Kenya, on August 30.
Oussama Lamlioui scored two goals, including the winning goal late in the match.
Madagascar’s Felicite Manohantsoa and Toky Rakotondraibe scored for their team. Morocco tied the game initially and then took the lead after Madagascar threatened to win.
The final score was Madagascar 2 (Manohantsoa 9′, Rakotondraibe 68′) and Morocco 3 (Mehri 27′, Lamlioui 44′, 80′).
