An increasing number of African Americans are contemplating moving to Africa to connect with their roots and seek a better life, influenced in part by the political climate in the U.S.

Auston Holleman, a YouTuber living in Kenya, feels more accepted there and perceives a sense of safety and familiarity.

The “Year of the Return” initiative by Ghana has also attracted more African Americans, granting citizenship to many seeking to reconnect with their heritage.

Businesses like Adilah Relocation Services are witnessing a rise in interest, with founder Adilah Mohammad emphasizing the personal and spiritual significance of such moves.

Experts suggest that African economies could benefit from this migration. Still, they also highlight the need for African countries to ensure a stable environment for newcomers as the U.S. faces challenges regarding diversity and the perception of opportunity.
