Algerian football teams and fans are expressing concerns about playing final matches in extreme heat, with temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.

Abdellatif Bouazza, assistant coach of MC Oran, noted that players face challenges such as fatigue and dehydration. Despite the heat, MC Oran achieved a 4-0 victory against USM Alger.

Fans have suggested rescheduling matches for better attendance. Additionally, a tragic incident occurred in Algiers where three people died, and many were injured when a stadium security barrier collapsed during celebrations for MC Alger’s league title win, resulting in the cancellation of the trophy presentation ceremony.
