Iran has turned down requests from the U.S. to negotiate due to ongoing attacks from Israel, according to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
He said that talks would only involve Iran’s nuclear program, and they will not discuss the missile program. The conflict began on June 13 and has led to many casualties, with 657 people reported dead in Iran.
In response, Iran has launched missile and drone strikes against Israel. The situation is tense, with military actions continuing from both sides and no clear path for diplomacy.
