The CEO of GACH Global, Abubakary Jawara, has donated an operational vehicle to the Gambia Police Force.
Mr. Jawara handed over the donated pickup vehicle to the Inspector General of Police, Seedy Touray, in Banjul on Wednesday. During the handover, CEO Jawara expressed that the gesture was to bolster police operations and enhance their ability to safeguard the lives and properties of the people. He emphasized the commitment to supporting the Gambia Police Force in addressing security challenges and expressed appreciation for their service to the country.
The foundation hopes that the vehicle will be utilized effectively and maintained properly. It aims to increase police presence in communities through active patrols, ultimately leading to a reduction in crime and boosting investor confidence in the country. Jawara also clarified that his foundation is non-political and dedicated to supporting all constructive efforts for national development. In response, Inspector General Seedy Touray expressed gratitude for the donation and assured that the vehicle would be put to good use.
