UN officials are calling on Cameroon to ensure free and fair elections as President Paul Biya seeks an eighth term.
Key concerns include restrictions on opposition parties, voter registration issues, and bans on gatherings.
Biya, who has been in power since 1982, is 92 years old and has faced corruption allegations and conflicts in English-speaking regions, along with violence from Boko Haram.
In the 2018 elections, he won over 70% of the vote amid claims of irregularities and low voter turnout.
