Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the IAEA, said that Iran might be able to rebuild its nuclear facilities after recent damage from US and Israeli attacks, but this process would take time.

He emphasized the need for inspectors to return to Iran to assess the situation. Grossi received a letter from the Iranian Foreign Minister indicating that protective measures had been taken regarding nuclear material.

He refrained from commenting on a US intelligence report suggesting that the strikes only delayed Iran’s nuclear program. Grossi urged for a diplomatic solution and proposed a meeting with Iranian officials.

Meanwhile, Iran’s parliament approved a bill to halt cooperation with the IAEA, criticizing it for perceived Western bias and for not condemning the attacks on its facilities.
