The corpse of a suspected homosexual has been exhumed and burned in the Senegalese town of Kaolack.
The graphic scene showed an angry crowd dragging the corpse after exhuming it. The group poured fuel and lit the corpse with tires as the public cursed the corpse for allegedly being a homosexual during his lifetime. His mother died of a heart attack after the exhumation of her son’s corpse. The deceased is identified as one Chiekh Fall, known as boy Naar.
“This is one Chiekh Fall, known as boy Naar, who passed away in Ndagan, a suburb community in Kaolack. After he died, his family looked for a place to bury him, but anywhere they went, they were denied because the dead were alleged to be a homosexual.
“So, according to reports, they secretly buried him at the Leona Niasse cemetery, but during their burial, some people saw them and reported the matter to the community leader, who tasked the men to exhume the body at the cemetery because the cemetery is home to great and pious people. So, the crowd exhumed the body and poured fuel and burnt the body,” a man explained in the video.”
“You see this. Remain a man and remain a woman as God created you, and Stop being homosexual just for wealth. Stop selling your religious just evil monetary aspect of this world. I think you’ve seen this. Anyone who is a homosexual when you die, you will not be buried in any of our cemeteries,” another man said in the video. In Senegal, a country with a 95.9% Muslim population, homosexuality is an offense punishable by one to five years in prison.
