The National Early Warning and Response Mechanism Coordinating Center (NCCRM) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) convened a meeting in Kololi, focusing on Crime, Security, and Governance.
Key stakeholders included government representatives, security services, and civil society organizations. The meeting aimed to review trends, share data, and enhance collaboration on human security issues in The Gambia.
NCCRM Director Ms. Binta Singhateh emphasized the importance of collaboration and data-driven approaches. Topics discussed included human trafficking, crime statistics, and inter-agency coordination, to assess national response mechanisms and identify policy gaps.
