Operation Serengeti 2.0, led by Interpol from June to August 2025, arrested 1,209 cybercriminals across Africa, recovered $97.4 million, and dismantled 11,432 malicious infrastructures, targeting scams affecting 88,000 victims, including cryptocurrency fraud and inheritance scams.
