The NHRC is Urging the Gambia Gov’t to Create Policies Safeguarding Older Persons
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) urges the Gambian government to establish a National Policy on Older Persons, expand pensions and healthcare, and ensure older persons’ rights, protection, and participation in national development, while addressing age-related discrimination and advocating for their dignity.
