In honor of its 11th anniversary, Join Hands 2 Save A Baby will donate Baby Monitors valued at £90,0000 (8,289,000) to two hospitals in The Gambia. Additionally, a UK hospital will be contributing newborn baby clothes to the donation. The provision of these monitors is expected to have a significant impact on saving lives in The Gambia. Furthermore, GK Partners has generously offered to cover the shipment costs for transporting the equipment from the UK to The Gambia.

The upcoming celebration will highlight Madam Amie Jarjue’s remarkable philanthropy and community welfare contributions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Amie’s organization led a campaign that raised over $6,000 to address the virus’s impacts, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to public health and community support. Her efforts were recognized at the Heroes Awards, where she was honored for her exceptional contributions to diaspora management and philanthropy, highlighting her influence in local and international communities.

Through various initiatives, Amie has consistently mobilized resources and support for vulnerable populations, solidifying her role as a crucial figure in humanitarian efforts in The Gambia. Her dedication inspires many and has left a lasting impact on society.

Often likened to Gambia’s Mother Theresa, Amie Jarjue has made substantial contributions through her organization. In 2020, she led a blood donation initiative to reduce maternal and infant mortality by providing essential blood supplies across the country’s six regions. Her relentless efforts continue to empower women and children throughout the country, serving as a powerful source of inspiration for others to effect positive change in their communities.
