The Inspector General of Police, Seedy Mukhtar Touray, attended the Turkish National Day celebration on October 29, 2025, at Ocean Bay Hotel, hosted by Ambassador H.E. Turkey Obi.
The event marked the 102nd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye and highlighted the strong relationship between Türkiye and The Gambia.
Ambassador Obi spoke about mutual respect and collaboration, while the Inspector General emphasized the Gambia Police Force’s commitment to enhancing bilateral security cooperation. The celebration included cultural performances, traditional music, and a reception featuring Turkish cuisine.
