Hon. Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, Minister of Information, Media, and Broadcasting Services of The Gambia, recently completed a two-day visit to Guinea-Bissau, which was fruitful.

During his trip, he engaged with national media organizations, met with Prime Minister Rui Duarte de Barros, and signed a significant agreement with Dr. Florentino Dias aimed at enhancing cooperation in radio, television, and print media.

Dr. Ceesay underscored the urgency for immediate action, urging the technical teams to commence work on the agreement by June 2025.

This visit marks the beginning of a new chapter in media and communication collaboration between the two countries.
