On November 17, 2025, the Gambia Police Force conducted a school outreach initiative in Kanifing Municipality, engaging students from Aji Sukai Ndateh Junior and Senior Secondary School and Kotu Senior Secondary School.
The outreach focused on promoting community collaboration, educating students about their rights and duties, and the importance of law and discipline. Key speakers included Corporal Foday Nyassi, who discussed community policing; Sub-Inspector Saikou Bojang, who raised awareness of child rights and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence; and Assistant Commissioner of Police Almameh Manga, who addressed issues related to the juvenile justice system. The initiative aimed to build trust and enhance community safety in The Gambia.
