Deputy Commissioner Mr. Malang Jarju of The Gambia Police Force was honored for completing the 295th Session of the FBI National Academy on September 4, 2025.
The 12-week course in Quantico, Virginia, included 254 high-ranking law enforcement officials and emphasized leadership and collaboration. Jarju is the third Gambian to graduate from this prestigious academy, which has trained over 55,000 officers since its establishment in 1935.
Graduates are expected to contribute to critical institutional reforms. The GPF expresses gratitude for the support of the U.S. Government in advancing law enforcement development in The Gambia.
