Gambia Police Force Meets with the Russian Ambassador to Senegal

On September 23, 2025, Dmitry Kourakov, the Russian Ambassador to Senegal, visited the Gambia Police Force Headquarters alongside his Chief Security Officer, Timur Bekniazov.

During the visit, Kourakov announced plans for the Russian Government to establish an Embassy in The Gambia. Deputy Inspector General of Police Demba Sowe expressed gratitude for the visit and emphasized the GPF’s commitment to strengthening ties and collaboration with the Russian Federation, particularly in matters of security.
