Social media has been abuzz with news of a man popularly known as Ebo Noah, who claims to have built an ark to save humanity ahead of an impending flood on Dec. 25, 2025. His video has garnered millions of views locally and globally.
The Ebo Noah Fuss
A Ghanaian social media user claims that he is building several arks to save people from an impending flood expected to hit Earth on Christmas Day, 2025. His videos, which feature boats and the materials used to build them, have gone viral on social media, garnering millions of views.
In a video uploaded to YouTube in August, Ebo claims he received a vision in which God warned of three years of rain, beginning on Dec. 25, 2025. As a precautionary measure, he is building an ark in which he will live through the flood. He also implored other like-minded citizens and those outside to join him in the ark, in what he stated was a possible reenactment of the story of biblical Noah.
The social media attention to the issue surged when several users shared his video, unsure whether it was truly a vision from God or a way to boost social media presence. The issue gathered momentum on X, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. This led some YouTubers to invite him to a conversation about prophetic claims. Amid discussions on the issue, some users claimed that “Ebo Noah” had been arrested by the Ghana Police Service for causing fear and panic.
DUBAWA decided to investigate this due to its virality.

What the Bible says about flooding
Some users appear genuinely concerned about whether the alleged flooding will destroy the world. The mix of cautious interrogation and anxious belief begs the question as to what the Bible says about the subsequent destruction of the world.
Genesis 9:11-13 clearly indicates the Bible’s stance on floods as a means of destruction. The King James Version of the Holy Bible states:
“And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. 12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.”
Conclusion
There is no scientific, theological, or meteorological evidence backing the claim that a three-year flood will engulf the world. The Ebo Noah frenzy is a digital cruise catching campaign.
