In a recent meeting dedicated to the authority’s strategic plan, the Commissioner General of the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA), Yankuba Darboe, underscored the significance of unity and integrity among staff. He emphasized that teamwork and adherence to ethical standards are crucial for achieving organizational objectives and enhancing tax administration.

CG Darboe highlighted the GRA’s vital role in managing the national economy, as it accounts for approximately 20% of the country’s GDP and 80% of government revenue. He also stressed the need for effective staff orientation programs and encouraged the HR Department to continue refining its approach.

Deputy Commissioner General Essa Jallow expressed alignment with GRA’s strategic goals and commended CG Darboe’s dedication to staff welfare.
