Gambia High Court is Hearing Lawsuits Against GPA, MD, and Others From Dock Workers
Lang Bala Sawo, President of the Gambia Dock and Maritime Workers Union, is suing the Gambia Ports Authority Managing Director and others for allegedly unlawful suspension and interference in union affairs, following accusations of mismanagement and disputes over union funds and leadership.
Gambia High Court Reviews GACH’s D58M Case
The High Court, presided over by Justice Ebrima Jaiteh, is set to hear GACH Global Trading Company’s case seeking D58,961,150 and $221,000 from Kaddijatou Kebbeh and Saikou Drammeh for alleged misappropriation, with GACH’s legal team presenting evidence from multiple parties, including Gam Petroleum, Vista Bank, and Koringo Company.
