Ambassador Bensouda presented credentials to the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

On November 19, 2025, Her Excellency Fatou Bom Bensouda, the Gambian Ambassador to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, officially presented her Letters of Credence to Grand Master Fra’ John T. Dunlap in Rome. During the meeting, she conveyed warm greetings from President Adama Barrow and underscored The Gambia’s commitment to enhancing diplomatic relations.

Their discussions highlighted opportunities for collaboration in humanitarian assistance and healthcare. Both parties expressed their desire to cultivate a partnership rooted in shared values, with the Gambian government eager to pursue initiatives that will benefit its citizens and strengthen ties with the Order.
