
President Adama Barrow toured the Faraba Banta campus of the University of The Gambia, which is currently 80% finished, underscoring the government’s dedication to advancing higher education.
The campus will include state-of-the-art facilities, such as a Faculty of Law, a School of Agriculture and Environmental Science, 14 laboratories, and a seven-story administrative building.
Its opening is scheduled for December 27, 2025, and the initiative aims to improve access to quality education and to equip students with skills essential to national development.
