Iran Reaffirms Willingness to Expand Lebanon Ties

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Iran stands ready to broaden cooperation with Lebanon and enhance bilateral relations.

The top Iranian diplomat on Sunday sent a message to his Lebanese counterpart Youssef Rajji to congratulate the government and people of Lebanon on Lebanese Independence Day, celebrated on November 22.

In his message, Araqchi highlighted the age-old and friendly relations between the Iranian and Lebanese nations.

He also expressed hope for the promotion of cooperation and stronger relations between the two countries in all areas of mutual interest.
