The Gambia Police Force conducted a weeklong biometric training from October 6 to 10, 2025, as part of Project IDENTITY to enhance forensic capabilities.

The training took place in Kanifing with officers from various agencies and was led by INTERPOL specialists. ACP Ebrima Kanyi highlighted the importance of biometric technology in modern policing.

Participants received certificates upon completion, underscoring the GPF’s commitment to professional development and inter-agency collaboration in forensic science.
