A deal has been reached between the US and China regarding TikTok, aimed at addressing national security and data privacy concerns.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced the agreement following trade talks in Spain, with potential finalization by President Trump and Premier Xi Jinping.

The plan includes transferring ownership from Chinese company ByteDance to a US-based entity, with no confirmed buyer yet, although Oracle may be involved.
