Cape Town named ‘Best City on Earth’ at the 2025 Telegraph Travel Awards. Telegraph reports

In 2025, Cape Town was voted the most loved city in the world by over 20,000 readers of a UK publication, recognized for its stunning scenery and vibrant culture.

The top three cities were Cape Town, Seville (best city in Europe), and Sydney. Greece was named the Best European Country, ending Italy’s 25-year reign, while New Zealand returned as the Best Country overall.

The top ten cities also included Tokyo, Kyoto, Copenhagen, Vancouver, Venice, Porto, and Singapore, highlighting a strong appreciation for natural beauty, history, and modern comforts among travelers.
