Ivorians cannot vote for Tijane Thiam, Laurent Gbagbo, Charles Blé Goudé, and Guillaume Soro in the upcoming presidential elections because they are not on the electoral lists.

Thiam is excluded because of a ruling related to his French nationality. Gbagbo, Soro, and Blé Goudé have been removed from the lists for years due to their criminal convictions.

None of these four candidates can run for office or vote in elections. Thiam plans to appeal this decision to the UN Human Rights Committee. Still, the Independent Electoral Committee has stated that there will be no changes to the electoral lists before the elections.
