Modou Turo Darboe, a well-known philanthropist from The Gambia, donated a significant amount of money to the Bena Bundung Committee Development Association.

This funding will help install additional solar streetlights in the Bandung area to enhance community safety. This donation is part of Darboe’s Vision Development Foundation’s efforts to give back to the community.

The association has been collecting funds from its members and has already installed fifteen streetlights. However, they are currently facing financial difficulties in expanding the project.

During a recent visit to Darboe’s office, the association members shared their development plans and the challenges they encountered.

Darboe expressed his support for the Bundung community and reaffirmed his commitment to its improvement.

He highlighted his previous contributions, including efforts to repair local roads. The association aims to increase the number of solar streetlights across Bandung.
