Representatives from African Diplomatic Missions in the U.S. met with the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) to discuss the upcoming 17th US-Africa Business Summit, scheduled for June 22 to 25 in Luanda.
The meeting, led by CCA President Florizelle Liser and Angolan Ambassador Agostinho Van-Dúnem, involved 15 diplomatic heads.
Key topics included the importance of the summit for U.S.-Africa relations, the impact of U.S. reforms from the Trump administration, and the private sector’s role in enhancing business cooperation.
Angola was chosen as the host, emphasizing its significance in Africa and globally. The summit has a history of three decades.
