Jain Njie, a 14-year-old boxer from London, has quickly risen in the boxing world, inspired by his father, Robert Njie, an internationally recognized boxer. He began boxing at age two and had his first professional fight in 2021, reaching the quarterfinals. In 2023, he advanced to the semifinals of the London Championship, and in 2024, he won his first championship title. Jain’s father serves as his coach, providing valuable guidance.
Balancing academics and boxing, Jain trains diligently, waking up at 6 a.m. to jog and work out. In addition to boxing, he is also a football player for the West Ham development team and enjoys writing poetry. Jain aspires to become a world champion, aiming to represent England or The Gambia in the Olympics, with a preference for England due to its better facilities. He is currently training for the upcoming England Young Boxing Championship.
