Staff members of Gamcel, a state-owned mobile GSM company, have submitted a petition concerning the non-payment of December salaries and the ongoing delays in salary disbursement. This issue has persisted for over two years.
They are demanding the immediate settlement of overdue wages, reconciliation of deducted Credit Union contributions, and the reinstatement of medical insurance, which has been inactive for three years.
Additionally, they raised concerns regarding access to Social Security information and personal income tax deductions, requesting explanations and resolutions within specified timelines.
Furthermore, they called for improved sanitary conditions at cell sites, better communication regarding outlet closures, and increased investment to enhance maintenance and operational efficiency, citing insufficient resources and poor service delivery as significant problems.
