
The Upper North Bank Region (UNBR) security services held a sensitization program at Ngayen Sanjal Upper Basic School to promote awareness on public safety, irregular migration, drug abuse, fire prevention, and community security.
The event featured senior security officers and a welcome address by District Chief Samba Jallow. Chief Superintendent S. Jatta highlighted the dangers of irregular migration and urged community leaders to discourage it. Speakers emphasized the importance of cooperation with law enforcement.
Mr. Kalilou Jammeh shared his experiences with irregular migration and donated his book, “Journey of Misery,” to students, while community leaders and school authorities expressed support for the initiative.
