GPF enhances police infrastructure with D1.5 million support from Ecobank Gambia

Ecobank Gambia donated D1.5 million to the Gambia Police Force to help complete the Salagie Police Station. The cheque was presented on December 22, 2025, at Police Headquarters in Banjul.

Ecobank’s Managing Director, John Nyaaba, highlighted the link between peace, security, and economic growth, while Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ebrima Bah, thanked Ecobank for the support.

This initiative underscores the collaboration between the GPF and Ecobank in promoting national security and community development. Senior staff from both organizations attended the ceremony.
