The National Sports Council of The Gambia congratulated Mr. Lamin Kaba Bajo on his inauguration as Chairperson of FIFA’s Grassroots and Amateur Football Committee for the 2025–2029 term, marking the first time a Gambian has held this position.
His leadership is recognized for contributing to the Golden Era of Gambian football, and he also serves as President of WAFU Zone A. The NSC commended his recent successful committee meeting and wished him continued success in promoting Gambian football globally.
