Law enforcement officials in the Gambia Police Force (GPF) have arrested multiple suspects involved in a failed robbery in Fajara on Thursday, February 15.

The suspects are charged with robbery-related violence, public possession of weapons, conspiracy to commit a felony, and unauthorized firearm possession. The suspects were identified thanks to the hard work of GPF investigators at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) office and the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects’ vehicles.

After careful analysis and investigation, the police could track down and apprehend the suspects, and retrieve the weapons used in the operation. The police emphasized the importance of community involvement in the fight against crime and urged Gambians to remain vigilant.
