The government of Azerbaijan has recently made significant advancements in relaxing travel restrictions with Gambia and Morocco.

The introduction of draft laws for public discussion at the Milli Majlis (Parliament) session on June 24 is a testament to the democratic decision-making process within the government. These laws, if approved, would exempt holders of diplomatic passports from visa requirements between Azerbaijan and Gambia and holders of general civil passports from visa requirements between Azerbaijan and Morocco.

Members of Parliament emphasized that these measures would enhance bilateral relations. Following thorough deliberation, both drafts were successfully voted on and adopted. These developments will facilitate increased diplomatic, and people-to-people exchanges between Azerbaijan, Gambia, and Morocco.
