Four individuals from Nigeria have been accused of stalking bank customers and attempting to rob them. The accused has been charged with two counts of felony and stealing and remanded at the State Central Prison, Mile 2. Emeka Anthony, Dominic Osinachi, Paul Ozima Iwu, and Ifeayi Elvis Nwanik have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to the charge sheet, the accused conspired to commit a felony and steal in Senegambia and other places on or about the 30th day of December 2023. Additionally, the accused attempted to unlawfully steal D120,000 from Sheik Tijan Touray at Senegambia on or about the 20th day of January 2024. The case has been adjourned to 8 February 2024.
